The Great Apple

Hopefully, this will be a sign, indicating that apples are for sale at my (extended) family's apple farm.

Hanging in my aunt's garage, we see here the apple with newspaper glued in many layers over an unseen wire mesh, which is sewed onto the wire skeleton (made of the green wire). The white area is DAP vinyl spackling compound that has been applied on the paper mache. Much more spackle needs to be added, then sanded and painted.
View from above. A small hole in the top permits water to drain into an internal funnel, which goes into the hose.
View from below. The drainage hose (which is not a worm!) will be cut flush with the surface, leaving a small hole.
